Honeyman - Retail orders} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}25/KW.19.12.34. Stabilising Bumpers. Replying to Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}1/L/19.12.34, we have got the specification of the bumper bar settled and have sent a copy of it to JLE{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager}, but the difficulty is to get Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden to produce the bumpers. They are doing what they can, but it will be the week after Christmas before they make any deliveries. We have made a number of modifications to facilitate the insertion of the starting handle etc., and this has delayed the job. We suggest that you put in your quantity order for bumpers right away; in the meantime as soon as we get the experimental two or three we have ordered we will allocate one to Professor Dodds' car.
