Dear Fedden,

re Bentley Car.

Referring to my letter of the 17th and the second paragraph re pistons, I have now heard from Derby who say:

'In view of the fact that he has run a considerable distance it would not be possible to take his standard pistons out and put Aerolite pistons in. Therefore the cost would be appreciable.'

The cost would be appreciable as it would entail a considerable amountof other work of an expensive nature and we doubt whether the resulting benefit would be sufficient to warrant this expense.

Yours sincerely,

(A.F.Sidgreaves)
