&.1029 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/MH.{M. Huckerby} 13th. October, 1939. A.F.Martindale, Esq., 11, Manor Place, Holywell, OXFORD. Dear Martindale, Thank you for your recommendations regard- ing the brake arrangement for small car. We have now decided that it shall be a 12 horse power at the largest, and, therefore, I believe that your brake drums are unnecessarily generous. However, we will reduce them in size if we find it is possible. I am glad to hear that you are not likely to be sent out to France for a short time. We are expecting some excitement at the Works now that the War has begun in earnest. Look us up any time you are in the neigh- bourhood. Yours sincerely, | ||
