-2- EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} /HEW4/AD5.6.30 contd. having closed up to .005". Upon opening out the gap the misfire disappeared. This rather rapid closing up of the contact gap may have been due to excessive wear of the rubbing block on the contact lever, and we are looking into the question of reducing this wear. We hope it will be possible to modify the distributor on chassis GYL-61 to up-to-date standard incorporating the special fittings designed for better tungsten contact point performance. EFC {E.
