1332 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}8/MH.{M. Huckerby} 20th. December 1937. The Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. For the attention of Mr. King. Dear Sirs, We enclose for your interest the steering angle curve which we obtained for your Humber on Thursday last. It is open to two criticisms. (1) The amount of over-steer is excessive. (2) The maximum cornering speed is too low. In this case the two go together, that is, if the over-steer were reduced there would be an increase in cornering speed. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
