-2- Contd. It appears to us from our own tests that the instruments, even though similarly compensated, show some variation from instrument to instrument. We are now instructing for the despatch of this instrument to you as previously arranged. The undersigned is now in receipt of the speedometer with the smaller type dial, fitted with your latest compensating device. He notes that your own tests have shown an error not exceeding 2.5% drop of reading between 12°C. and 35°C. We shall subject this instrument to a test similar to the one just made with a view to advising you, as desired, to go ahead with the manufacture of these instruments.
