DELCO-REMY BATTERY IGNITION CONTACT BREAKER & DISTRIBUTOR.

X4284

Reference your E3/M12.1.27, we are making arrangements for this sample to be sent to you. Concerning it, my assistant remarks as follows :-

"This distributor has run the equivalent of 60,000 miles on the bench rig since we obtained it. The ballast wire was removed for the purposes of analysis and the two holes in the side of the distributor casting were drilled to allow connections to be made to an RR. condenser."

We are sending you at the same time, one distributor and contact breaker of the twin unit of American Bosch manufacture, supplied to us by Mr. Olley.

We have not yet made any bench tests with this but intend to do so in due course.

We shall be glad if you will kindly return this apparatus after inspection.

EFC.
