X.4080 Hsl/LG. [STAMP: RECEIVED EFC FEB 10] [HANDWRITTEN: EFC] 10th. Feb. 1921. Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., Aston Cross, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, For the attention Mr. W.Bond. With reference to the latest set of tyres we have received from you for test. We find that these are a considerable improvement over the previous tyres as regards silence. We can pick out a noise from them between 25 and 40 M.P.H. but we do not consider it objectionable. It remains to be proved whether these tyres will remain silent after the tread has worn down. We will let you know if we notice any difference in the noise as the tyres wear. Attached herewith is the usual report on the tyre mileage. Yours faithfully, | ||
