Ex-a-gun FORCED LUBRICATION SYSTEM The “EX-A-GUN” forced lubrication system is the most efficient and practicable necessity of the motoring age. It positively forces new clean grease into every bearing, shackle bolt or pin, under a pressure of 500/600 lbs. to the square inch. It reduces depreciation, maintenance and replacement cost. It gives longer life to every chassis unit. The “EX-A-GUN” grease terminal is cheap, efficient and neat in appearance. It costs less than an old fashioned grease cup. It is screwed permanently into position and will not work loose or become lost. The ball of the check valve is held in position by an exceptionally strong spring, preventing dirt and water from entering, and is only opened when the terminal connector is applied. Standard “EX-A-GUN” Grease Terminal, FULL SIZE. INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING “EX-A-GUN” TERMINALS. STANDARD “EX-A-GUN” TERMINALS (illustrated full size above). These are screwed 1/8" gas thread, and will be found suitable for replacing a large percentage of greasers which are fitted to British, American and other foreign cars. Terminals are, however, supplied with any other special threads. No. 2 AND No. 3 TERMINALS. These embody the standard terminal with additional cup or plug type adapter. Each type is supplied to any size or rate of thread, to replace loose fitting grease cups. COMPLETE OUTFIT ORDERS. Specify the make of Car, the particular model, and year of manufacture. In many instances non-standard renewal bolts and greasers have been re-fitted to chassis, and to enable correct outfits to be supplied, clients should specify the type, size, rate of thread and number of each particular terminal required, or send a grease cup or greaser as a pattern.
