FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR.LESLIE
SPRINGS TO DRAWING NO. FW.1477.
Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your letter of the 29th instant with reference to the above springs, and we note you have now received the first pair of springs as part of the first order for 6 pairs of springs, and that you have managed quite satisfactorily with regard to the bushes.
With reference to the type of lubricator fitted in the springs already received we would say the whole of these were made to the old drawing, when it was decided to have them converted to the later drawing, and of course the remaining 5 pairs against this order will be supplied with lubricators of the old type.
Our Service Department are replying to the latter part of your letter with regard to the delivery of the remainder of these springs, and we would confirm that there are now 8 pairs of similar springs to supply.
Yours faithfully,
JONAS WOODHEAD & SONS, LTD.
