Johnson, Esq., The Palmetto Packing Co.Ltd., 14-16 Farringdon Road, LONDON E.C.1. Dear Sirs, Will you please send by return a 2 lbs. box of your Palmetto gland packing material of ¼" square section. A box of similar packing ⅜" square section has been submitted for our use in packing water pump glands, but this we find is too big for the job. The aforementioned packing is urgently required for an engine which is on a special test run, and we shall be obliged if you can let us have this material as soon as possible.
