9.B.V. CAR - POINTS REQUIRING ATTENTION
AS SOON AS CAR IS IN SHOP.

(A) BONNET.

This requires bringing up to the latest detail drawings and various faults correcting, necessitating the following

(1) Top plate near side requires re-rolling at front end to fit radiator contour - at the moment there is an ugly gap where it rests on the radiator - both plates to be cut away at ends to agree with details.

(2) Extra opening spring to be fitted to top hinge.

(3) Stiffening plate on top plate side folding to be moved to agree with correct position of bonnet fasteners.

(4) New side plates incorporating correct position of bonnet fasteners (to scheme and details), correct position, number and type of securing clips.

(5) Support brackets off dash to agree with latest details with securing clips positioned to give proper retaining load.

(6) Bonnet rest plates with Ferodo pads fitted to latest details.

(7) Clearance to be given between hinge sheath and body at rear end of hinge.

NOTE. The side plates should be made and fitted to car before car comes into shop, and despatched to Park Wards for rust proofing and painting so that they are ready for fitting when the car is in the shop.
