X4261 REC'd From O.O. Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /Dn5/HP91221. 9th December.1921. Re Goshawk II Road Springs. With further reference to ours of the 16th ultimo. reference Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /Dnl {Mr Dunwel} /HP161121 and the 6th inst. reference Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} /Dn8/HP61221, the Despatch Stores report that they have not yet received the set of Goshawk II Road Springs, comprising two fronts F.50596, 540 lbs, and two rears F.50595, 900 lbs, which were supplied for bumper tests. The delay in returning these springs to Messrs. Woodhead & Sons Ltd. is now very considerable, and it is necessary that they be sent into Despatch Stores immediately. Messrs. Woodhead's have made repeated requests for these springs, and are somewhat at a loss to understand why they have not been returned to them. Will you please give this matter your immediate attention.
