(See attached sheet). Origin. To facilitate manufacture and improve reliability and efficiency of coil. Experimental Test Report. Three coils of this type have satisfactorily passed through our schedule of ignition coil intensive bench tests, which we consider to take the place of a 10,000 mile test on a chassis, which latter test has proved to be an unreliable test in the case of ignition coils. Road Test Report. Run 1,000 miles on 14-G4 in France. Also fitted to 23-EX run 2,000 miles.
