- 2 - special order its dimensions can be varied to a certain extent to suit the purchaser. A rough estimate of the price would be £50 as a detonation indicator alone or £100 for the complete assembly. The condensers necessary to apply the indicator to all the special problems outlined above could be made here for a few shillings since they merely consist of parallel plates of mica and tin-foil. It was proposed that we should rig up the necessary tackle for any applications in which we are interested and Mr. Dodds will then come down and demonstrate the indicator. If the tests prove satisfactory the indicator would be left with us to try out, pending a decision as to whether we would like to purchase a similar instrument. -------------------- A.{Mr Adams} Towle. | ||
