R.R. 493A (40 H) (SL 42 12-7-23). J.H., D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. X4119 Expl. No. 4119. 441 REF EFC2/T26.2.25. To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. CJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. EY. RG.{Mr Rowledge} X.4119 - IGNITION WIRING TUBES - STATIC INDUCTION EFFECTS. XS714 As referred to in our EFC1/T25.2.25. p.3.. we have now completed tests to ascertain whether the length of gap jumped by the induced spark when both ignitions are at work is greater than for one or either ignitions only. Attached please find my assistant's report WA.{Mr Wallis}112 from which it would appear to be very definitely the case that there is increased probability of wrong firing when both ignitions are working together.
