DERBY.

Dear Mr. Grylls,

I have pleasure in referring to your letter of the 26th November, Ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}5/MH{M. Huckerby}, for which I thank you.

We have tested the four samples of used Castrolite with petroleum ether, b.p. under 40°F, and find that the weights of precipitate formed are as follows:-

A - 7,036 0.04%
B - 12,383 0.02%
C - 1,023 Trace
D - 4,868 0.1%

new centrifuge films

The amounts are so small that it is hardly worth making any comment upon them. For your visual inspection, however, I am sending to you the actual filter papers. I think you will agree that it would be almost impossible to do anything more with them.

Yours sincerely,
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} Evans.
