COPY. House of Commons, 21st January, 1921. Messrs George Kent, Ltd. 199-201, High Holborn, W.C.1. Sirs, I thought you might like to know my experience in using the glare guards recently purchased from your firm. In my opinion they are really quite excellent and quite one of the best and most efficient devices of the sort which I have seen. They render it possible to drive at night without being in any way inconvenienced by the glare of approaching head-lights and they are also extremely useful on certain occasions when driving against the sun. I have really no criticism whatever to offer with the possible exception that the blue glass might be a shade less opaque but in my opinion they certainly do all that is claimed for them and I am recommending the device as strongly as I can to all my friends. Yours faithfully, (Signed) Curzon. The above is an unsolicited opinion from Viscount Curzon, who is, of course, in no way interested in the firm of patentees and manufacturers of the "Glare Guard". | ||
