ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. RR 238 (300 Bks.) (SF 152. 6-11-18.) MP 197880 X. 4333. To: EFC Order No: AB. Y8. Customer's No: 1 X. 4333 Further Tests of Z Brushes. Dynamo 288 has been run for a further five days (averaging 8 hours each) with changing polarity on alternate days. The machine was arranged to complete a cycle of starting, working up to high speed, and stopping about three times per minute. On three days, the polarity was normal, being reversed on the other two. The commutation & general performance, was about the same on either polarity and the brush-surfaces were in good condition at the end of each day. Intermittent running is a less severe test than continuous running on a good load. Signed: HAllen This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
