Re: Wireless on 31EX. We have received the Philco Wireless Set and Speaker for the above car, and have delivered it to Messrs.Park Ward & Co. This is one of the new type of sets in which the converter and the set are in one. The speaker is 9" in diameter. We use this set only when the set and speaker are under the instrument board. This is the position on all cars which are purely owner driven, i.e. cars not having a division. On cars such as 31 EX where there is a division, there is not enough room between the extra seats and behind the division to house the set which you have sent us. The Philco set which is normally used in this case has a 7" diameter Speaker and a smaller set with a rotary converter which we house underneath the floor. Shall we get Philcos to change the Set which you have sent us, for the one to which we refer, or will you deal with them? This matter is very urgent, and unless you allow us to use the Set which will go into the available space, we shall have to leave the wireless off this car. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
