Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/MJ. May 7th.1930. Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON, N.W.2. Dear Sirs, The Calorstat which we are at present using opens the radiator shutters at between 80 and 85° C. In order to avoid the loss of alcohol by evaporation, we want to obtain a Calorstat which will operate some 10° lower than our present article. Will you please let us know what you can do in this matter. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
