[STAMP: RECEIVED APR 18] Re Proposed Connection between Breather & Carburetter. 40/50 Engine. Please receive herewith three blue prints of "N" Scheme 845 which is the proposed design for connecting the breather with the air intake of the carburetter, and so avoiding fumes getting into the body. It is proposed that all new castings should be die castings, with practically no machining on them at all, the whole being sweated up. But in order to reduce the weight still more it may be thought desirable to make the muffle piece out of sheet metal, in which case at Fig 2 we have proposed a copper or brass pressing attached to the tube by means of a light brass spinning. We think that a model set might be made of both these so that we may get approval of it. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
