Dear Sir, Doubtless our name as manufacturers of Sparking Plugs is not unknown to you, and as we have recently completely remodelled our range of Plugs, we should like to take this opportunity of bringing them to your notice. The bodies are manufactured from a specially hardened steel, of modern design and finally chromium plated. Mica is used for the insulation which our experience has proved to be more effective than steatite or porcelain, as the possibility of the insulation breaking down by cracking is eliminated. Flaking of the mica is practically impossible owing to the high quality used, combined with the special swaging process which is applied to all our plugs, which enables us to guarantee each one for 12 months. We are taking the liberty of forwarding you under separate cover a dozen sample plugs - Type S.1. - listed at 5/- each - which we would ask you to subject to various bench tests and actual running conditions. These sample plugs are taken from actual stock and are guaranteed to be of our normal standard production, both as to efficiency and appearance. We would also bring to your notice the new type packing of 4 plugs, which includes the free Maintenance Chart. Should the result of your tests prove satisfactory, we should appreciate the opportunity of quoting you for initial equipment supplies.
