RE GF68 ENGINE UNIT FOR 4-GII.

The electrical experimental items on the GF.68 engine unit which should not be allowed to go with the unit on 4-GII to be sold, are as follows :-

(1) Redmanol encased coil TR {Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance} 1.
(2) Contact breaker lever 2E (fitted with bone grey fibre rubbing block - 2nd. sample)
(3) Dynamo E with annealed copper commutator.
(4) Pad lubrication scheme for cam.
(5) Finally approved Goshawk fan No. 26.

We suggest that the new distributor unit from 8-GII unit be exchanged for the distributor unit at present on 68-GF unit, so that this distributor can be run on an experimental chassis.

When an experimental chassis/to be sold, and before this leaves our Dept., we trust that you will have removed all electrical experimental items and return these to us, in order to avoid the difficulties we have sometimes experienced in the past of recovering these items.
