With reference to the 36 rubber rings recently supplied to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}793, we had arranged with Mr. Skellon of the British Goodrich Co. to supply 12 out of the 36 rings as fabric covered rubber rings. That is, a layer of fabric all round the rubber ring.

When the rubber rings arrived we found that a mistake had been made and there was only a strip of fabric through the centre of the rings. We returned the faulty rings to Mr. Skellon by hand and he has promised to send 12 replacement rings of the correct type. We are still waiting for these.
