(dict. 11.6.27)

NO.1 SEQUENCE STARTER SCHEME.

With reference to the various instructions on the No.1 sceheme sequence starter, i.e. EY/RDL/T29.9.26 and EFC3/T25.1.27, which instructions have been held in abeyance pending the initial trials of the No.2. scheme, we have again looked into this matter and we have written to R.{Sir Henry Royce} as to enquire as to whether he wishes any further work to be done on this previous arrangement in view of the fact that a good deal of the apparatus is ready. Upon receipt of his answer I hope to be able to inform you definitely as to whether the whole of this may be cancelled or alternatively to give you a further definite instruction as to the details of the arrangement which we wish to test out on the crankcase rig which you have prepared.
