INTERNAL BRAKE NOISE.

There are quite a number of complaints of P.III, 25/30 and Bentley, of creaking of the brake mechanism inside the drums. I have gone over the complaint with Cliburn at Cricklewood, also at Kingsbury. The trouble is the dynamo of the toglles in the slots of the cam and the bearing of the cam in the carrier plate. Cricklewood overcame the trouble by smearing the parts with H.P.G. (high pressure grease). It is a grease with a high melting point, and is recommended for this particular job. Is it possible to have these joints treated in the same manner during erection?
