I thought you would be interested in the above notes.

With regard to the aluminum head, I think it will be necessary to test the effect of various saline waters and alkaline anti-freeze solutions on the alloy you propose to use. I suggest, if you approve, that we write the Mack people, who have been using an aluminum head for some years, asking them for their experiences on corrosion of the jackets.
