1339 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}19/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 28th Sept. 1937. R.M. Papelian, Esq., Edgware Road, Cricklewood, N.W.2. Dear Sir, Thank you for your letter of the 13th Sept. The general tyres are very good when they are new. They are silent and have good adhesion. We are interested, however, to note what they are like when they have worn down appreciably. We are, therefore, running endurance on them. They do squeak when going round corners. I shall hope to have a further talk with you about them at the Motor Show. Yours faithfully, For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
