[Struck through]: Copy to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten]: F.T.H. This seems good. See me. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 25/30HP Servo Motor - Section 6180 E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.10.11.36. We have examined the question of the proposed keyed Servo linings in place of the present enclosed linings on the 25/30HP chassis, and estimate that the former system would give a nett saving in Factory Cost of 4/7d. per chassis. Although we would pay 1/8d. extra for the new type linings, the machining of the new Inner, Outer and Friction plates would be cheaper by 6/3d. G/Rb.{R. Bowen} [Signature] | ||
