Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM14/L9513 Re Mud Guard for 4 speed Levers. - X.155 J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} R.{Sir Henry Royce} 9/5/13 This Guard consists of a piece of sheet aluminium bent to a simple shape, and is bolted to the pendulum gear lever in which the change gear lever works. It has been fitted to the Austrian Trials Cars, and the Experimental Shop report that it effectually protects the sliding blocks from mud, and it is now proposed to fit as standard to all 4 speed boxes. Messrs Nadin, Platford and Wormald have signed their agreement, and we shall be glad to know whether Mr Johnson and Mr Royce are also in agreement. p. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} | ||
