contd :- -4- the maximum spring movement recorded over our test stretch of road which reproduces the present spring complaints, and find it to be 1.100" or say .5" each side of the normal load position. We cannot believe that the increase in rating at .25" from the normal load position due to spring pads and shackles can be of sufficient magnitude to be appreciable.
