Special Test of Dubilier-made Condensers.
Lately Dubilier-made condensers have been undergoing various special tests to determine their suitability for the RR car. Six of these in two groups of three each, have performed as follows.
Group A (Nos 786, 785, 810) These were run on the test rig under standard conditions for 4 hours. As no failures occurred, the battery voltage was increased to 18 and the spark-gaps were increased to 9 mms.
