Description of Parts.
ORIGINAL
Deletion of shutters in Bonnet.
Origin: Because the shutters are practically never used.
Experimental Test Report: The difference in temperature of the radiator with all the shutters in the bonnet open compared with them closed is 4°F.{Mr Friese}
Road Test Report: Doing away with the shutters will avoid one frequent source of rattles. It will also improve the appearance of the bonnet. Shutters have never been found necessary on experimental cars.
To commence on "P" Series.

Cost of Old Part: Hives. £
Difference per Car: £ 1. 7. 0 decrease.

Action: C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
