VALVE SEALING WASHERS (B.V. & WRAITH III).
Tests have been carried out in accordance with the scheme ECD.1022 which comprises special top valve spring washers and Neoprene sealing washers in order to stop oil passing down the valve stems.
The results with the initial two sets you produced for us and fitted to WXA.1 and 27.G.VI. are promising and we should like you to instruct a further 4 sets.
Both W.III No. 10 (Continental) and Wraith Ripple No. 1 unit to have this scheme fitted to the inlet valves only, not the exhaust.
