Dear Mr. Skinner,

Further to our telephone conversation, I think that the figure of 150 pts/hour for the larger double unit pump is quite high enough. The reason I say this is that one of these pumps should do for the Bentley and it would appear that by the time they get on the car we shall be getting about 130 HP. from this engine. This means that really to be on the safe side we shall require 100 pts/hour from one unit. It seems reasonable to make the pumps this size as we can get 60 pts/hour from one of the existing Standard units.

I should be very pleased to see you and Mr. Sears any time that you can get over if you will give me a couple of days notice, and I hope then to be able to show you an R.R. carburetter in action.
