25th August, 1938.

Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Fort Dunlop,
Erdington,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of H.E. Price Esq.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our telephone conversation of yesterday we have carefully examined the 6.50 x 16 C type Fort tyre which we have, but can still find no sign of its being made up by hand.

We wish to have one more tyre like this and are sending one tyre back to you so that you can identify it. Will you please make us one further tyre and return our sample. We assume that this is a 6 ply tyre.

An official order will follow.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
