Dear Robotham, As I am going away on Friday for my holiday, I thought you would like to receive a note from me advising you of the position of the various jobs which it was decided we should make at the last meeting. 1. Two further sets of pistons with strengthened crown for the high compression unit - These were duly completed last week and should now be safely in your possession. 2. Pistons for low viscosity oil tests - Two sets of these fitted with rings conforming to the American proportions but made from centrifugally cast iron, are now well forward and should be despatched to you early next week. The other two sets, identical in design, but with the rings made from individual castings to the American iron specification, are some way behind, insofar that we have not yet received the ring blanks, the pistons otherwise being ready.
