Please receive herewith one blue print of the following:- F.76947 Cover for Side Steering Tube Joint. 2 off per chassis. Kindly instruct that the above Stocking is required when fitting Hydraulic Axle Control Damper in conjunction with the latest Phantom Side Steering Tube Joint, and is shaped to fit the Joint more closely in order to obtain clearance at the Front End as suggested by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} It should be noted that when fitting Axle Control Damper on Phantom Chassis a special Side Steering Lever issued by "G" Dept. is necessary.
