| TELE: WORKS: 520. PRIVATE: 232. RAVENSCOURT, LYMINGTON, HANTS. 12th May, 1941. My dear Robotham, I am sending you a taste from the Test and hope it arrives safely. I don't get time for fishing in the week now, but as we have knocked off working Sundays, I went this Sunday and had quite a good day. I have had a little trouble with the back axle of my car. The ball bearings have gone and don't let the crown wheel and bevel pinion intermesh, but I believe your people are trying to fix me up with bearings. Y Crown wheel & bevel Anyway, Blackith was up there last week, and I think Y Pinion he is seeing about it. The point of this letter, however, is this; is there any possibility of your having any experimental cars which you would like to sell? Are you building an occasional car just to keep your hand in, because, if so, I should like to buy another. Mine has done about 70,000 miles and if there is any hope of getting hold of an experimental model which I could just run about for you and let you have reports and so on, I should be only too pleased to buy one. Yours sincerely, John Horton W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq., Park Leys, Duffield, Derby. | ||
