X.7770Y The following work is required on 40/50 HP. cars :- Brakes. 14-EX. Reline all brakes with Duron and fit G.W.H. anti-squeak scheme to the front. 20-EX. Reline front brakes with A.M.R.2. Ferodo and fit G.W.H. anti-squeak scheme. 24-EX. Examine cylinder bores. One cylinder has had a partially seized piston. Fit cast iron exhaust system to N.S.2931. Fit torque reaction dampers to N.S.2792 made suitable for left-hand car. Swan Neck Experiments. Make necessary apparatus for measuring movement for top of Swan Neck and of the fishtail for P.2. Make swinging link for fishtail N.S.3144 and flexible bracket N.S.3174. These are for P.2. but similar schemes are necesssary for 20/25. Alterations to the small carb. hot spot silencer to reduce back pressure (A.J.L. will issue instructions). New carburetters, double and single. New petrol pump. 20/25 HP. CARS. Completion of 2nd. lightened flywheel Completion of 12-G4. (1) New engine mounting. (2) New front expansion box. (3) China engine out of GLN.60. | ||
