It is with sadness that I admit that our bonnet fastenings are not nearly first class. We believe we have a scheme which is decidedly better than the present. We would like BJ. to agree that the cast dash, which has done 10,000 miles, can be adopted on the first series the stocks will permit. In conjunction with this cast dash the bonnet, fixings, locks, etc. will we believe be much improved. One of the reasons that has made the bonnet more troublesome is the change in the steering box to an outside lever. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and many of us are very keen to get the above going. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
