Messrs. Thos. Firth & John Brown Ltd.,
Atlas & Norfolk Works,
Sheffield, 1.

29th. September 1937.

For the attention of Mr. Porter.

Dear Sirs,

This is to confirm our telephone conversation. We are requiring very urgently one pair 1400 lbs. springs to F.89060A only with a loaded camber of 1.600" positive instead of .400 negative. The deflection from free to loaded camber should be 7 inches.

Will you please let us know when these springs will be ready. In order to save time we should be ready to accept them unplated.

We are now practically held up for the first pair of the Bentley spring MO.217, will you please let us know when we shall receive them.

We should also like a date for Phantom III spring to S.C.D.82.

We hope you will be able to let us have this information by return, so that we can cause the least inconvenience at our works.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
