Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. E.W. Hives.

Dear Sir,

We have to thank you for your letter of the 10th inst., and are glad to know you do not consider that the last set of Straight Side Tyres produce any objectionable noise.

We do not think you will find these tyres show any increasing tendency to create noise as the tread gets worn down, but in any case this point will be fully covered in the properly Moulded tyres which we now propose to make to reproduce the experimentally made tread of those you have for test.

Thanking you for the valuable assistance you have rendered us in carrying out tests.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.
