(Generator and Projector) The type "B" lighter works on 110 or 220 volts alternating current, and necessitates the use of an independent or a contact synchroniser, according to application. TYPE "B" SYNCHRONISERS 2. INDEPENDENT HAMMER BREAK SYNCHRONISER: Driven by an electric motor provided with a tachymeter and regulated by a rheostat and hand brake. It enables observation to be taken without contact with the machine being examined when its motion is very regular. 3. CONTACT HAMMER BREAK SYNCHRONISER: Driven by the machine under examination. It is necessary in obtaining the appearance of strict immobility, independent of the machine's irregularities, precise measurements, and in the use of the Photographic Arrangement. It comprises a system of hand angular displacement with fixed connection poles, allowing the points of observation to be changed and an appearance of slow motion obtained.
