to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} RE LAMPS FOR 18.EX. There would appear to be little hope of getting the specially operated mechanical Lucas Dipping P.100. Lamps in time for Mr. Royce's car. We wish Derby to go ahead and fit Two Fixed P.100. Lamps, and a central lamp Stephan Grebel.180.m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} All lamps to be black finished. A design for this was sent to you this weekend. See N.Sch.2761-2. Would Sales see that HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has these three lamps in time to have them on the car before it comes to W.W. in a weeks time. This memo cancels our previous instructions given in EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/27.10.28. detailing the accessories for this car. So far we have had no news of the special syreamline wing-lamps which were ordered for this car. We suggest that Sales should approach the Lucas people at Birmingham. If they are not obtainable we would like you to supply Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} witha set of the Chrysler Type wing lamps. The rear/rear glass in each lamp should be obscured by painting inside with black paint. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
