86116 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/MA. 27th, December, 1933. Messrs.Joseph Lucas Ltd., Great King Street, Birmingham, 19. For the attention of Mr.Neil. Dear Sir, During a telephone conversation with Mr.Neil the undersigned suggested that an immediate palliative to the long distance illumination complaints received relative to the X160 lamps on the Bentley, would be the fitting of a plain "Diffusa" glass to these lamps instead of the existing fluted one. We suggested this because it seems quite likely that our customers will be taking delivery of Cars before you have the new lamps available. Will you kindly let us know as soon as possible whether this changeover can be effected quickly on the first few lamps i.e. the 15 pairs you have already delivered to us. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
