To Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from EFC. " Rg.{Mr Rowledge} X4021. EFCl/AD16.1.30. X.4021. WATFORD AERO MAGNETOS. In answer to our two letters both of the 10th inst. EFCl/AD and EFC3/AD. to Messrs.North & Sons, on the subject of Watford aero magnetos, we have received a reply, letters ref. CHK/HWJ. both of the 14th inst. of which the attached are copies. We are, as desired, arranging for the return of the two magnetos Nos.98033/4 for the purpose of having the contact breaker base plate changed for those of the latest approved pattern. In regard to Messrs.North's remarks concerning the parts of the SP.{Mr Spinney}12-5 magnetos in magnesium alloy, will Rg.{Mr Rowledge} please note these remarks as he may consider that certain parts of these machines at present in this alloy should be altered to aluminium alloy, though it is the case that the parts which were unsatisfactory on the B.T.H. magnetos are not included in the parts made of magnesium alloy in these Watford magnetos now under consideration.
