-5- (Cont'd) De-centralisation of Experimental Units. box. said he thought the suggestion a good one and he would arrange to carry the scheme out very soon and extend it as it became possible to do so. He said we should be able to do a great deal in this direction as soon as more space is available on completion of the new service depot. The first unit to be dealt with is the SpectreCodename for Phantom III gear box which Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} has now put into the gear box production department. He also made the point that by this means he should receive a great deal of assistance due to the bringing in of the specialists on the various units such as Brock on electrical units and shock dampers, and Norman and Pritchard on gears with the result that time and money would be saved.
