Internal update on the status of various cars, including a Mercedes, a Delaunay-Belleville, and a Daimler.

chassis, and those that were originally prepared for this
car were fitted to 58NA{Mr Nadin} to his instructions and there
may be some delay in the Order Office in obtaining a further
set.

We hope, however, to send this car to Holmes Bros.
by the end of the week - even if same is in an incomplete
state - to have the body fitted, and it should therefore not be
very long before the car can be sent to Mr Royce, particularly
if it be sent without the Zephyr pistons.

Mercedes Chassis.
This car is awaiting a new Crankshaft before it can be
prepared for sale. A forging is now on order but it will
doubtless be some little time before we receive the forging
as it has only been ordered recently, and as you are aware,
we are experiencing great delay in getting material which
is not for war service.

Delaunay-Belleville.
Mr Platford has charge of this car; he tells us
that it is now being stored in London awaiting instructions
from Mr Royce as to when it may be sent him for examination,
after which it is to be returned to the Works to be taken
down for examination in our Repair Dept.

Daimler Car.
We still have the old Daimler car in our Experimental
